You should work on some Michael Jackson dancing impersonations. Your wife will love you more and people everywhere will adore you.

I'm thinking of ways to end the phrase, "Oh man! I can't wait to get home and...."
The results are in: 1. ...finish installing that stripper-pole into the guest bedroom. It'll be the PERFECT in-law deterrent! 2. ...master my Rubik's cube. It'd prove geeklike superiority! 3. ...add to my new humor site, MormonJihad.com. I KEEL YOU... with kindness! 4. ...finish building that paint booth in my back yard. Being able to professionally paint things is SO gonna rock! 5. ...dig out my sprinklers. Sprinklers rule. Always need more sprinklers! 6. ...work on that massive TREEHOUSE! My kids are gonna be the most spoiled kids in the world when I eventually have them. In the meantime, it'd be a SWEET place for some pirate parties! 7. ...post bogus "lost cat" flyers all over the neighborhood with the number to the Happy Yummy Chinese Delight on it. 8. ...post "lost virtue" flyers with pictures of my neighbor's skanky wife on it. 9. ...SAVE THE PRINCESS!!!! 10. ...free the neighbor's dog and claim it as an act of PETA! 11. ...build my own waterboarding device in my garage, which I've aptly named "Little Guantanimo"
...Guantanimo would make an excellent child's name. Noted.

Mini gitmo... I like it!
So far I am giving guitar a whirl, but I am not sure if that will be the final chioice. I have also considered becoming seriously involved in investment and the markets. I know a lot of people enjoy this, but it could just be that they enjoy gambling, but have a moral opposition to it (not that it is really different than market speculation). At one point I was getting pretty good at knife throwing. Perhaps I could resurrect that skill.
I have also considered writing a book on the life of Paul, but it would be hard to add value since there are about a billion of such books. I am a decent writier, but I am not creative, so I wouldn't mind writing a book, but it can't be fiction. I am just not that talented.
Anyway, I appreciate all of the suggestions. If you think of more, I am open to suggestions.

Writing a book on the life of Paul may prove to be worthwhile. Even if it doesn't sell, it's still enriching. You're focusing your time and developing your writing abilities doing something you love. Who knows? Maybe during the reflection in writing you'll learn something new? Or maybe you'll find that creativity you've been looking for.
Other ideas:
1. Organize some sort of community event. Find a way to reach out and connect with your neighbors.
2. Try getting a soldier or an inmate pen pal. Learning about others and sharing is how we grow. Perhaps you can one day write to this pen pal about Paul.
3. Write a business proposal for one of your "if I become filthy rich" ideas. Even though you're not filthy rich now, a good idea is a good idea. Perhaps you can find somebody who is and is looking for that good idea. In either case, being able to write an executive summary would be a great exercise.
4. Volunteer and advertise one of your skills to your community. For instance, offer free Feng Shui counsel. It'd be a great way for you to develop that skill, meet people who are interested, and help people. It may also lead into a hobby where you make a few dollars from doing it.
