When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, originally, I decided to pseudo-adopt the persona of Ripley from Alien3. It sorta made sense. I'm a bald chick fighting against a nasty mother bitch growing in my chest. Metaphor aside, since my hair has come off, I've had a few people say I look like Ripley, so it kinda works on a few levels.
Anyway, I really do feel empowered to think of myself in this character. The only problem is . . . well . . . Ripley always dies trying to take down the alien queen. It's starting to piss me off a little bit.
As a result, I've decided that I want to hire an artist to illustrate a different ending to this story. The problem is, I don't know anyone who has ever attempted to replicate the style of Giger. It wouldn't have to be exact, but I DO want it to be clean and recognizable.
Does anybody have any suggestions on an artist to try?
Thanks.

That would be freakin' awesome.
On a completely unrelated note, you wouldn't want a copy of The Golden Plates: The Comic Book, would you? I was given it as a gag gift, and I'm throwing out all my stuff. I really can't figure out anything to do with it.
This goes for everyone else. If I don't hear a bid in the next 24 hours, it goes in the recycling bin with all of my wig catalogs.

The comics have been donated. But I'll find you something cool instead.
