I have no idea how most people do it. It seems like I'm always in "go mode". Always running from one thing to the next, to the next, to the next. I haven't cleaned my apartment in at least 3 weeks. I haven't done my laundry in nearly that long. I get home just in time to make food, sleep for 5-6 hours, and then fly out the door again.
I need to balance out these things: 1. Work 2. Family 3. Social 4. Gym 5. Sleep 6. Food 7. Church 8. Home 9. Music (sorta?)
How should I have these prioritized? How do YOU guys manage to keep your stuff in order?

The key is delegation. When extremely busy, do only those things that only you can do and someone else can't do for you. Everything else you should try to delegate. Also prioritize based on your values. Finally, be willing to say "No". It is okay for things to be left undone and for things to get dropped. The key is that each thing is consciously dropped, and it didn't slip through the cracks.
1. Work - Can't delegate 2. Family - Can't delegate everything, but you can also make a conscious decision on which activities you will attend and not feel obligated to attend every single function. 3. Social - If you are not having fun or enjoying it, then don't do it. You are being social as a benefit, and it should not be a chore. IF you dread social things because you won't have fun and it will take up toime you would rather do other things, just say no. 4. Gym - If you figure out a way to delegate this, let me know. You will make a billion dollars. 5. Sleep - The foundation of life. Sacrifice things to ensure you get 7 hours. Your life will be better. 6. Food - Delegate it! When super busy, buy food from restaurants. It is not the most economical solutions, but it can easily save an hour or more a day if you factor in cooking and cleaning up. Once you have a system of prioritizing and scheduling, then start integrating cooking back in. Not worth the stress and effort if you are already running ragged. 7. Church - Big fan of church. 8. Home - Maintenance is less effort than repair. Give it a good cleaning, and then just spend 5-10 minutes a day picking stuff up and doing any dishes. 9. Music (sorta?) - When all else fails to give you satisfaction and release, you can always rely on music. Everyone needs a source of joy or contentment. Use music as needed to help fill that void. 10. Helping others - This is as obligatory as work. You need to help people, especially friends. However, if a few people monopolize a majority of your time, you may consider altering your relationship with them. Relationships are supposed to be symbiotic. If they are parasitic, you may need to adjust.

Good call with #10. I'd forgotten about that one. I'll think about the food thing. I've got a fewissues with eating out often. (1) Economy. It costs significantly money. (2) Lack of skillset. I like learning to cook. I like cooking. (3) Health. I swear that most restaurants have no idea how to structure a healthy diet. More time at restaurants will result in more time at the gym. D'oh!
