Wuddawaste's comments sparked my interest, and I had to surf the net to see if there were any etiquette guides to midnite movies. I can find them to midnite PREMIERES and to The Rocky Horror Picture Show, but not to other midnight films.
I sent a little poll across the net, asking people about midnight theatre etiquette in their hometowns, and the response is fascinating. I think I will post a few of them, eventually.
I also think that someone needs to write an etiquette guide. Maybe I will eventually make a website. Pretty much the reason that I sent out the poll was to ascertain that I am not fasticious based on local culture.
In the meantime, I have just obtained a copy of Troma's 1972 classic, The Demented Farmhouse Massacre.
