Since Jackson's family requested that today we remember and share happy thoughts about Michael, here are a few things that make me smile. They are good childhood memories; I think that mostly Wudda will understand.

I honestly could care less about Michael Jackson dead or alive. The media coverage of it is, simply, retarded.

I'll plainly admit that I was/am a Michael Jackson fan. Some of you knew that already since I tried to push doing some M.J. covers with the band.

I'm not going to blame the media for over-hyping his death. The media only shows the public what it wants to see. Michael was amongst the biggest celebrities that this world has ever known. In fact, I can't think of a bigger name at all. I haven't yet heard someone ask, "Who was that?" He really was that big. Famous, infamous, whatever -- I really think he was the biggest celebrity this world's ever seen. Of course the media's going to be all over it.

I forgot to catch The Simpsons last night. I was out cold. Bummer! Maybe Hulu will have it up.
