Speaking of which: Ami, we made about 205 mochi? hmmm not sure on the plural vs singular usage...anywho i obtained about 60 myself. so if you would like me to bring some to church i am more than happy to.

Which is best: microwaved, baked, or fried?

WARNING: Heimlich does not work for mochi. It is too stretchy. One website says that the best thing to do is use a vaccuum with a long tube, try to create a seal, and suck the mochi out.

haha once again i say, i have SO MUCH MOCHI anyone is welcome to it.
my personal favorite is in miso soup. microwaved is awesome, my grandma loves friend- not sure bout baked.
but mochi parties are always fun...
i also have an email on the vacuum manuever. ami i believe i sent it to you at one time or another...
